It was great in Rovinj again – organisers, hosts, exhibitors, lectures, old and new friendships! A great experience for me, like a part of the national jury and a part of the jury at the Photo days marathon! Once again, I am disappointed that we didn’t have any author form the Montenegro on the main exhibition. Maybe next year we will have the new motivation, inspiration and some new artists, we will see! Here are some of the photos form this year journey. All the best, and many thanks to the organisers, Denis Redic, Iva Prosoli, Dunja Nekic, Jelena Blagovic Pavicic and many others at the backstage. Many thanks to Srdjan Dundjerovic for this black and white photo.

Last week I have an interesting shooting in Tivat, Hotel Regent Porto Montenegro. My client CKB (Montenegrin commercial bank) ask to make a photo with the headline “Holiday in Montenegro”. We have one day for all preparations. I know the model – Jelena, but she was out of the Montenegro and my friend Lina – costume was with her online. From Puzzle LTD, Jelena MIljanic organised everything, she was on the line with assistants Vedran Ilic & Dalibor Sevaljevic, with make up artist Emina Zecevic, with client. I choose for this shooting Nikon D810 with several Sigma Art lenses, 35, 50 & 85mm f1.4! Also we bring additional light equipment with the light shapers – Broncolor Move 1200 L, Lastolite frames diffuse, white and silver. It was very interesting, we came on the location two hours before and make some test shoots, before costume and make up. I know that we will have only less than one hour for the final photo, so we were ready! Thanks everybody for the final result and many thanks to my client to choose me for this shooting!
Last weekend was fantastic! Snowshoeing is a challenge! The conditions for photo shooting were fantastic, the light was perfect! Great friends, great food on the Komovi mountain! We were walk about 15km, I bring with me Nikon DF, Sigma 20mm art, Sigma 35mm Art and Nikkor 70-200 f2.8! It was fantastic weekend!
Photo shooting with Marijana Goranovic is a pleasure for me, always! She is so full of positive energy and she knows what is the best for her! Also I receive the same energy from Marijana. We know each other a long ago, we work together on the video and photo for Paralympics London 2012 and Rio 2016. All the best Maki for Tokyo 2020!
A few days ago I have an opportunity to work with young artist / pianist Jean Paul Gasparian. We have only one hour to make e few portraits. On the start it was very frustrating the time that we have for photo shooting, but on the end I am satisfied. We keep the natural look and make portraits from the lazy afternoon. For this photo shooting, I use nikon D4, Sigma 50mm and 85mm f.14 Art and natural light! Many thank to Brabka Balevic Gasparian and Montenegrin music centre.
