About Me

Duško Miljanić, photographer from Montenegro, was born in Tivat in 1975. but lives and works in Podgorica. Within the photo and cinema club of Podgorica, he perfected his photographic skillz with instructor Vojo Radonjic. He graduated and master from International University Europa Prima Skopje, Department of Photography in the class of professor Robert Jankuloski.


He is professionally engaged, as an official photographer of several companies and institutions, and he publishes photos in various publications, magazines, books and monographs. He occasionally holds workshops for full-time students at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Dramatic Arts and Mediterranean University Podgorica.


Since 1998, he’s been actively participating in photography of Montenegro. Other than commercial, Miljanić is also ubiquitous in art photography. He has participated in over 80 group exhibitions, both local and abroad. As an author, Duško is participating in several international art projects and photography workshops, such as:

For his authorial work in the field of photography and video, Duško has won several significant awards at international institutions and festivals, among which the most important are by the World Association of FIAP Art Photographers in 2014 and the Sterija Award for Photography in Theater Arts, 2017. The awards for the video work "Life after David" include the Bronze Plaque, 5th Roma Life - Central European Documentary Festival, Bem Art Cinema, Budapest, Hungary, 2012 and Film photography Award - 9th Roma Film Festival “Golden wheel” - Cinematheque of Macedonia, Skopje, North Macedonia 2012.


He is the initiator and one of the organizers of the international photography salon "Podgorica Photo Salon", in 2006 and 2007, and also co-organizer of several photography courses. He is a member of the international jury of the festival Photodays Rovinj (2013-2018) and Balkan Photo Sarajevo (2015). Participant, workshop leader and lecturer at several editions of the FLUID festival (2015, 2019) and Photo fest Bar (2017, 2019).
