I write these lines to show my interest in performing a debut with your majestic orchestra. My name is Paco Montalvo, I am a spanish soloist violinist.
On this website you will be able to find information regarding my artistic career, including my debut in Carnegie Hall in New York on April 24 in 2011 with the conductor, John Rutter; also my performance with the Cuban National Symphonic Orchestra in Havana at the Amadeo-Roldan Theatre, The National Auditorium.
I have also attached a short video clip, from a performance in Tel Aviv where I performed the concerto No. 1 of Nicole Paganini with the Israel Symphonic Orchestra.
Also attached is a 3D video clip of my interpretation of Saraste’s “Introduccion y tarantella”.
I think it would be interesting to offer a program of “Homage to Sarasate” with his most significant virtuoso romantic works, considering the 105th anniversary of his death the next year 2013/2014, in addition to a wide repertoire for violin and orchestra if you wish.
I would like to inform you that on March 31st I will perform at the Danube Palace in Budapest with the Orchestra of Budapest (Hungary), and will be performing Saraste’s “Introduccion y tarantella” , “Fantasia de Carmen” and “Zapateado” (as an example of Spanish concert music).
I would also like to mention that at every performance I play with a Nicolo Amati violin (1660), and it is my honor to represent the City of Cordoba (Spain) as a cultural ambassador.
I would like to thank you for your time.
For any questions I am at your disposal.
Best wishes,
